Yes—if approved by your carrier. We can bill insurance for second opinions when the carrier approves the visit. If your plan does not approve it, you’re welcome to pay out of pocket and seek reimbursement directly from your insurer.
No. North County Neurosurgery’s second opinion service is not for urgent or emergency situations. If you’re experiencing severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
